POS: Restricting Pax Void Payment

Navigation: Log into POS and select a Check, then select Reopen Check > Void Payment

  1. Payments made on Pax payment devices can be voided from POS only when:
    1. The Pax payment device is connected to the POS, and
    2. From the POS where the initial payment was made

  2. When attempting to void a payment from the Pax device that is not connected to the POS (or attempting to void from a different POS node/station or tablet), a pop-up with the message 'The Payment was completed in (Pax device name), you cannot void it from (POS name) Please re-try the void from (Pax device name) will appear.

  3. Void action will be restricted for the Pax device on all POS node/stations or tablets where the PAX device is not connected.

  4. When the PAX device is connected to the POS, then the Void action will be allowed and the pop-up will not appear.
